Spring Class Giveaway

1. Eligibility

The Baltimore Sun + Coppermine Spring Class Giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of The Baltimore Sun, Coppermine and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

2. Contest Period

The Contest begins on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 8:00 AM ET and ends on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM E . Entries received outside the Contest Period will not be eligible.

3. How to Enter

There are two ways to enter:

Subscription Entry: During the Contest Period, subscribe to The Baltimore Sun for the promotional rate of $1 for six months through the designated Contest landing page. Upon completing the subscription, you will automatically receive one entry into the Contest.

No-Purchase Entry: To enter without purchasing a subscription, click here during the Contest Period and complete the online entry form with your first name, last name, email address and zip code.

Limit one entry per person during the Contest Period, regardless of method of entry. Entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, duplicated or submitted through automated means may be disqualified.

4. Prize

One (1) winner will receive one (1) Coppermine Spring Class of their choosing, valued at approximately $300.

The prize is subject to availability and Coppermine’s applicable terms, conditions and scheduling requirements. The prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or substituted, except by the Sponsor if the advertised prize becomes unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

One (1) potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

The potential winner will be notified by email using the contact information provided at entry. The potential winner must respond within 7 days of notification or the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.

The winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, where permitted by law.

6. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

7. General Conditions

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of The Baltimore Sun and Coppermine, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Contest.

The Baltimore Sun and Coppermine reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these Official Rules, tampers with the entry process or otherwise attempts to interfere with the proper administration of the Contest.

By entering, participants agree that The Baltimore Sun and Coppermine may use their name and entry information for purposes of administering the Contest and, where permitted by law, for promotional purposes.

8. Privacy

Information collected through the Contest will be used to administer the Contest and as otherwise described in the applicable privacy policies of The Baltimore Sun and Coppermine.

9. Winner's List

To request the name of the winner, email ainsel@baltsun.com after the Contest has ended and include “Coppermine Spring Class Giveaway Winner” in the subject line.
